Changes to the Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP) were made following discussions between Treasury Board and the Plan’s Partners Committee, which includes federal public sector unions, retirees and employer representatives. New FB contract signed

New Agreement is Now in Effect

Today we signed our new agreement with Treasury Board. As a result the tentative agreement ratified in mid-December is now in effect.

Confirmed date for the signing of the FB agreement

This week, our PSAC Negotiator received final confirmation from Treasury Board that the signing of the FB agreement will take place on March 17th at 11:00 a.m., in Ottawa.

PA, TC and EB groups served notice to bargain by Treasury Board

One week after the election of PSAC’s Treasury Board bargaining teams, the union was served with a notice to bargain for the PA, TC and EB bargaining units.

Grievance on First Aid Allowance

The Customs and Immigration Union (CIU) recommends that members grieve the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) decision to limit the payment of the National Joint Council (NJC) First Aid Allowance. CIU is advocating that members who meet the eligibility criteria grieve.

Presentation of the FB agreement to cabinet postponed

Our negotiator was contacted by Treasury Board on Friday and was notified that there has been an unforeseeable change of date with respect to the presenting of our agreement to cabinet.
